Sabi Church Of Christ, Pokhara Kaski Nepal.


Introduction.

It was established in 2015 in the hilly and remote area of Kaski distinct of Nepal by preacher Damodar Devkota. he has started a congregation there with one believer and new there are 17 believers which is the blessing from the Lord. church of Christ which is established by Christ is as strong as a rock. ( Mathew 16:18).we succeded to baptized 34 believers in Pokhara valley .since 2014.


History
preacher Damodar Devkota, after finished his Himalayan bible college in 2013, went to Pokhara for spreading God's work and glory.he was born in 1991. preacher Damodar Devkota studied Bachelor 3rd year in Birendra campus, Chitwan. he couldn't study future or master, because he gave his whole life in preaching and his childhood grew without seeing his father. some years later he found a new father who accepted as his son and family .his family found Jesus while he was 10 years old.

   
The history of Sabi Church of Christ is so strutted level to save and to move forward. preacher Damodar Devkota when went to Pokhara with his family, he faced, many problems because he was new in this place and the society is Hindus, he struggled very hard there even to find the room in rent because nobody became ready to give him room because he is  christian.but he didn't become hopeless .he is known he was there for God's work.

Chosen nameing program.

He had financial problems as well as he was dominated churches. Sabi Village is a remote and hilly place. it takes 2 hours by bus from Pokhara city. Road to Sabi is so offroad so traveling is very difficult. there is poor availability of transportation and some time we have to go there by walking especially in the rainy season because of the damaged road. it one should have to go to do a fellowship in believers house, should walk to the top of the hill whereas there is a road in the down of the hill .communing through mobile is hard because of lack of mobile tower.

 The Kingdom work is going ahead. There is a plan to build a church building. In this work, God will speak and everyone needs prayer.

          1. We should encourage one another to work - Heb. 10:24

          2. Works are subject to testing - Gal. 6:4

          3. Christians should be prepared unto every good work 2, Tim. 2:21

          4. Goodwill reward works - Jar. 31:16;1 Cor. 3:13-15

          5. Christians should be zealous - Tit. 2:14

          6. Christian are to maintain good works - Tit. 3:8, 14

          7. If we do not do good we sin - Jas. 4:17

          8. Christian is to be example in good works - Tit. 2:7

          9. Christian are God's workmanship - Eph. 2:10
